UNIVERSITY OF QARAN

(UOQ)

The Uinversity of qaran (UOQ) is Somalia's Only national functioning university, which was founded on 1st of Janaury, 2000 by Dr. Badal Kariye and Dr. Hussein Hassan Jibril who are members of the Somali elite.  

The Board of Regents of the Uinversity of Qaran (UOQ) and the Somali Ministry of Edcuation and Heritage (MOEH) are cordially congraluting to Dr. Badal Kariye's succession for the first production of the Advanced Swahili-Somali bilingual Dictionary that is available offline and online, and his endless efforts to educate the African people in order to share knowledge and ommon grounds for understanding each other.

Dr. Badal Kariye is the Author of the First Swahili-Soomali Kamusi "Bilingual Dictionary" which contains more 545 pages, and it  has a Contempoary Grammar and Daily Phrases.

Special Thanks to the Government of Tanzania, Kenya, DR Congo, Uganda and the rest of IGAD Nations for supporting me during I was writting this Swahili-Somali Kamusi "Dictionary" which is avaliable online and offline from the Dr. Badal Institute of Linguistics at the University of Qaran (UOQ), Somali National University Online.  

I aslo thanked to the Father Arlod Growl, the Founder of Fungamano, and Prisons are People in Project in Kenya who helped me with my academic educational achievemnet before he passed away in Mombasa Kenya.

I am also grateful for my mother, maternal aunt, father, all relatives and my friends who encauraged me to write and compose this advanced bilingual Swahili-Soomaoli Kamusi "Dictionary" which has never been written before July 29, 2009
